10:16 p.m. - A caller on SR 257S reported hearing gunshots in the area.
10 p.m. - A caller at 6740 Church St., Loogootee, reported a dark colored car was taking items from the residence. The subject was identified by officers as the homeowner’s brother who had been instructed to remove all firearms from the residence.
8:13 a.m. - A caller on Bypass 50 reported a farm truck weaving all over the road.
6:20 a.m. - A caller near CR 100 W and north of CR 450 S. reported hitting a deer.
2:04 p.m. - An accident was reported near Hoefling’s. No other information was available as of press time.
12:34 p.m. - A complainant on station turned in a baseball cap and wallet.
12:05 p.m. - Don Altmeyer, 812 Maxwell Ave., reported that overnight someone had run off the road and destroyed his mailbox and tossed the mailbox into his yard.
11:08 a.m. - Natalie Booth, 2007 Grand Ave., reported someone stole her gas grill from her patio.
11:01 a.m. - A caller at Walmart, 100 Bypass 50 Plaza, advised she had witnessed a female driving a red moped with a small child riding on the back without a helmet. The driver of the moped came to an abrupt stop and the child fell from the moped. The caller said the moped was parked on the food center side and both the female and the child were now inside the store.
10:26 p.m. - Tina Thomas, 401 Mound St., reported that her German American bank card had been stolen.
7:31 p.m. - An employee of Southwest Medical advised their ambulance was nearly hit while on the way to a run by a maroon colored van that ran the stop sign at Meridian and Van Trees streets. The van was later located by officers and the driver claimed to be unaware of what had happened. Officers told the driver to pay better attention and that they could be cited if they disregarded medical personnel again.
