Thursday

8:31 a.m. - A female caller reported a missing cell phone from Lena Dunn Elementary school over the weekend. A report was made.

Wednesday

9:06 p.m. - Melissa Kaiser, 304 S. Meridian St., said a child found possible meth trash. The item was a prank by another child and not drug-related.

COUNTY REPORT

Wednesday

3:13 a.m. - The manager of Baymont Inn and Suites, 7 Cumberland Drive, reported needing assistance to get intoxicated people to leave the property. The intoxicated people were reported as damaging vehicles and rooms. Officers determined that the damaged vehicle belonged to the intoxicated subjects who had left the property. Another vehicle was left by the group that had a flat tire.

ARRESTS

Deanne Belcher, 38, Washington, was arrested Wednesday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for failure to appear for check deception. She was released on $2,000 bond.

Michael Hyde, 48, Washington, was arrested Wednesday by Washington police on a warrant for two counts of failure to appear for operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person and operating a vehicle while intoxicated .15 percent or more. He was released on $2,000 bond.

Steven Stotts,18, Odon, was arrested Wednesday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for failure to appear for battery resulting in bodily injury. He was released on $2,000 bond.

Jose Guerrero Alcantara, 33, Washington, was arrested Wednesday for operator never licensed. Bond was set at $2,000.
