Wednesday

9:54 a.m. - A female caller reported someone entered 905 S.W. Fifth St. and left through the back door. Nothing was reported missing.

9:37 a.m. - A female caller said a male was asleep in the front door at 114 E. Main St. A male was found was waiting for a ride and was looking for shelter from the rain.

Tuesday

6:18 p.m. - Austin Collins reported a break-in to his vehicle at 1302 N.E. Fifth St. Officers were shown pictures found on social media.

5:23 p.m. - Amy Banta, 1207 S. Meridian St., reported a break-in. The glass was broken to the front door.

COUNTY REPORT

Tuesday

10:46 p.m. - An abandoned vehicle was found on U.S. 50 near Antioch Christian Church. The vehicle was towed.

COUNTY ACCIDENTS

Monday

6:29 p.m. - Joshua A. Sanders, 32, Elberfeld, was driving a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix east on U.S. 50 and attempted to turn left on SR 57 S, disregarding a red light. The Grand Prix collided with a 1997 Ford F-150 driven by Joshua P. Davidson, 24, Vincennes. Debris from the accident then flew onto a 2013 Ford XLT driven by Lana S. Voegerl, 48, 4250 S. Ridge Lane. Sanders refused medical treatment at the scene and damage was estimated between $10,000 and $25,000.

9:56 a.m. - Raymond P. Teeple, 56, Ossian, was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Mailbu east on U.S. 50 near the SR 257 intersection. Teeple told deputies he was unfamiliar with the area and ran a red light, and was hit by a 1997 Buick Park Avenue driven by Kent C. Schnarr, 64, 2122S SR 257. There were no injuries and damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.

ARRESTS

Coty Andrew Baker-Shake, 29, Washington, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday on a warrant for maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. He was released from the Daviess County Security Center on $10,000 bond.

Jennifer Ann Cusick, 42, Washington, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday for two counts of theft. She was being held on $5,000 bond.

Brian Scott Poehlin, 27, Washington, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Tuesday on two writs of attachments. He was released on $2,980 bond.
