Monday

12:42 p.m. - An employee of Swifty’s, 409 W. Nat’l Hwy., reported a theft due to a card problem. The person was contacted.

7:32 a.m. - An employee of Mitchell and Stark construction said company vehicles were vandalized at a construction site on Waller Drive. Mirrors were broken off and windshields were broken. Extra patrol was requested.

Sunday

6:57 p.m. - Ptl. Brandon Humphries found a rider in a go-cart on N.W. 11th and W. Walnut streets. The driver was told not to drive on city streets.

2:58 a.m. - A male caller reported an altercation outside the Angle Inn, 710 W. Nat’l Hwy. Two females were in an argument and statement forms were obtained.

1:51 a..m - A male caller reported another male trying to steal a scooter at 1509 Vincennes Ave. A male was in custody.

Saturday

11:39 a.m. - A male caller said limbs were down and causing a power outage at 105 W. Oak St. A male was a cutting a tree down without a permit and a line crew was called.

9:29 a.m. - An employee of Chuckle’s, 201 N.E. Fifth St., reported a drive-off worth $5.

2:36 a.m. - Jason Sturgeon, reported a theft of a TV from 900 S. Meridian St, Building 1, Apt. 4. A suspect was named.

2:11 a.m. - A male caller at 909 S. Meridian St. said people tried to get into his residence. The caller saw two males in their 20s leave on foot. They could not be found.

Friday

6:53 p.m. - Jerry Torres, 1800 Parkdale Ave., said the glass was busted out of his front door. The incident was reported as vandalism.

Sunday

10:53 p.m. - Several callers reported a reckless buggy disregarding stop signs in Odon. A buggy was pulled over on West Street and citations were issued for minor consumption.

11:06 a.m. - April G. Hardegree, reported a car was hit and glass broken at 14771N 900E. A report was made.

Saturday

3:24 a.m. - A deputy reported a van was in a ditch on CRs 900E and 1650N. One male was taken into custody.

11:33 p.m. - A caller reported a fight at the Odon Tavern. Several people were asked to go home.

Friday

2:01 a.m. - A deputy pulled over a vehicle on CRs 900N and 650E. Three minors were cited for minor consumption and told to go home.

COUNTY ACCIDENTS

Sunday

7:30 a.m. - Matthew S. Bunch, 29, 1307S 400S, was driving a 2000 Nissan Sentra east on Old U.S. 50 near S.W. 11th Street when he ran off the road, into a ditch and wedged between a fence and a utility pole. Bunch was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Damage was estimated between $5,000 and $10,000.

12:54 a.m. - Cory D. Swartzentruber, 19, 13602N 900E, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado on CR 100N in Montgomery when he told deputies he missed a curve and hit a tree. A passenger, Brandon R. Knepp, 18, Cannelburg, had minor bleeding to his head. The driver was cited for driving while suspended. Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.

ARRESTS

Dakota Babrick, 20, Washington, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies Friday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a controlled substance, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor, possession of marijuana under 30 grams and dealing in marijuana under 30 grams. He was released on $7,500 bond.

Paul Wininger, 27, Washington, was arrested by city police Friday on a Pike County warrant for failure to register as a sex or violent predator. He was being held without bond.

Jose Guardado, 23, Washington, was arrested by city police Friday for operating a vehicle while never receiving a license and deception. He was being held on $4,000 bond.

Jano Davis, 22, Odon, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Friday on two failure to appear warrants. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Anthony Lawson Sr., 55, Washington, was arrested by city police Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated between a BAC of .08 and .15 percent and operating a vehicle while intoxicated involving endangerment. He was released on $4,000 bond.

Bradley Sparks, 37, Bloomington, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Friday on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for illegal possession of anhydrous ammonia or ammonia solution. He was being held on $10,000 bond.

Rosio Areli Roblero, 30, Evansville, was arrested by city police Saturday for operating a vehicle while never receiving a license. He was released on $200 bond.

David Thompson-Lemon, 27, Washington, was arrested by city police Saturday for possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe. He was being held without bond.

Matthew Scott Bunch, 29, Washington, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, refusal. He was being held without bond.
