Today's police report

CITY REPORT

Friday

2 p.m. - An employee of Chuckle’s, 201 N.E. Fifth St., reported a drive-off worth $10 by a driver in a silver Dodge truck.

1:36 p.m. - An employee of Fast Max, 1200 E. Nat’l Hwy., reported a drive-off worth $20 by a driver in a gold Chevrolet minivan.

1:10 p.m. - Lana Jennings, 900 S. Meridian St., Apt. 4, reported tires to her vehicle were slashed.

11:41 a.m. - Michael Hartley said the headlights to his vehicle were smashed out on W. VanTrees Street.

Thursday

3:09 p.m. - Hayley Burress, 75 Southview Trailer Court, reported a breaking-and-entering. A suspect was named.

COUNTY REPORT

Thursday

5:55 p.m. - A male caller at 5324S 50W reported an attempted breaking-and-entering. A door was kicked in, but the deadbolt held the door secure.

4:21 p.m. - A bus driver reported a stop arm violation on CR 900E by a driver in a gray Chevrolet S-10 truck.

11:24 a.m. - Gary Clark, Plainville, reported a breaking-and-entering of his house at 647 Third St. Wallet, IDs and medication were taken.

9:30 a.m. - Amos Knepp, 6372E 600N, reported an ATV stolen. He requested an officer.

ARRESTS

Miranda Bennington, 29, Vincennes, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday on a warrant for battery resulting in bodily in jury and criminal trespassing. She was released from the Daviess County Security Center on $2,500 bond.

Christina Clark, 35, Monroe City, was arrested by deputies Thursday on a warrant for five counts of fraud, and theft receiving stolen property. She was being held on $5,000 bond.

Kelly Purcell, 37, Washington, was arrested by deputies Thursday on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence. She was being held on $50,000 bond.

Janice Hartley, 38, Washington, was arrested by city police Thursday for disorderly conduct. She was being held on $2,000 bond.
