A Bicknell man was arrested Tuesday for alledgedly stabbing his stepfather with a pair of scissors.
Tyson Hartzburg, 22, was taken into custody after Indiana State Police troopers and Bicknell Police officers were called to 307 E. Second St. for a fight in progress. Officers found Hartzburg extremely intoxicated.
According to a press release, officers learned Hartzburg had entered the home and was out-of-control. He then stabbed his stepfather, Lee Miller, in an argument and allegedly threatened to kill his parents. Miller received a minor injury to his arm and was not hospitalized. Officers also found drug paraphernalia on Hartzburg.
Because he was extremly intoxicated, Hartzburg was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital and later to the Knox County Security Center where he was charged with aggravated battery, intimidation and possession of paraphernalia.
