Monday

8:27 p.m. - A caller at 39S 150W reported a one vehicle accident. The vehicle had struck a utility pole. The driver of the vehicle, Teresa M. Cox, was not injured but was booked in the Daviess County Security Center for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

12:54 p.m. - A caller on Old Vincennes Rd. reported a reckless driver in a silver SUV. The caller said driver of the vehicle, a female with red hair, exited the vehicle and seemed very irate. The driver then took off on foot. A field copy was completed.

12:09 p.m.- A caller on CR 600S just east of SR 257 reported a suspicious male selling tools out of a maroon pickup with South Carolina plates. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

8:16 a.m. - A caller on SR 57S reported a property damage accident involving a black truck that had run off the road and into a field. The driver of the vehicle could not be located and the vehicle was put on hold until the owner could be contacted for insurance verification.

CITY REPORT

Monday

5:38 p.m. - Stephen Miller reported that an air conditioner had been stolen from a house he was doing a short sale on at 11 Hemlock Drive.

3:38 p.m. - A caller on Oak Street reported that a bicycle had been stolen from his garage. The bicycle was a Magna Mountain Bike black and gold in color.

ARRESTS

Teresa Marlene Cox, 50, Washington, was arrested Monday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond was set at $2,000.

Ryan Shanklin, 24, Washington, was arrested Monday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for failure to appear for two counts of battery resulting in bodily injury. He was released on $2,000 bond.

Jeremy Seelmaer, 23, Washington, was arrested Tuesday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a controlled substance. No bond was set.
