COUNTY ACCIDENTS

Thursday

3:42 p.m. - Ted Miller, 59, Paoli, was driving a 2006 International Semi owned by Polecat Partners of Paoli on U.S. 50 near CR 1250E. Miller’s liquefied petroleum gas truck was following behind a quad axle truck hauling livestock and a school bus was in front of the livestock truck. The school bus slowed to make a left turn onto CR 1250E but Miller did not see the livestock truck slowing down or the truck’s brake lights. Miller swerved right to avoid contact with the livestock truck and went into a ditch rolling his truck and tanker onto its right side. The driver of the livestock truck pulled over to see if Miller was OK but left the scene. No information on the livestock truck was available but Miller said he did not believe the truck had working brake lights.
