Odon book sale continues

WASHINGTON — The winter book sale at the Odon Winklepleck Public Library is being extended to Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Many great books and videos are still available. This includes children’s books, novels, paperbacks, Christian romances, books on tape, and more. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Eagles Auxiliary to meet

Eagles Ladies Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, with an initiation.

Zoning Appeals to meet Wednesday

The Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Council Chambers, 200 Harned Ave. Included on the agenda: election of officers and appointment of attorney; request to operate daycare facility at 118 Briarwood Drive.

Barr-Reeve alumni chorus on Friday

All alumni of Barr-Reeve High School who were members of the Barr-Reeve High School Chorus are invited to sing the National Anthem at the Barr-Reeve vs. Shakamak boys basketball game Friday. This will be homecoming night.

The alumni chorus along with the current Barr-Reeve High School Chorus members will rehearse in Mrs. Condra’s room following the homecoming activities after the JV game and perform the National Anthem prior to the varsity game.

A hospitality room will also be available for the alumni chorus members. If you need any more information, contact Joyce Hawkins, Barr-Reeve choral director at 486-3265.
