Saturday's Police Report



2:47 a.m. - Police received a report from a resident at 312 N. State Road 57 that an apartment had been broken into and ransacked.


5:07 p.m. - An employee at Chuckles at 201 N.E. Fifth St. that someone had just pumped $20 in gas and drove off without paying.

5:28 p.m. - Police received a report that an SUV had pumped $43.94 in gas from Chuckles at US 50 and SR 57 without paying and had taken off north toward the city.

5:53 p.m. - A resident reported a power line had fallen along CR 150N. A later call advised the line had caught a tree on fire and several power outages.

7:01 p.m. - Police received a report from a resident at 804 E. Main St. that someone had stolen medication, a camping lantern, and laptop computer.


Christopher Gluck, 46, of Washington was arrested by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. He is being held in the Daviess County Security Center on $4,000 bond.

Stephanie Marlowe, 31, of Linton was arrested by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for a petition to revoke a suspended sentence. She is being held in the Daviess County Security Center on $2,000 bond.

Samuel Gill, 28, of Washington was arrested by Washington City Police on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while never receiving a license. He is in the Daviess County Security Center on $2,000 bond.
