WASHINGTON — ARRESTS

Gregory Scott Smith, 50, Washington was arrested Tuesday by Washington police on two counts of criminal mischief. No bond was set.

COUNTY REPORT

8:30 p.m. - A caller near CR 400N and CR 650E reported that a male subject was dumping cow droppings in the area. The Indiana Department of Environmental Management was contacted.

7:15 p.m. - A caller at 5049N Private Rd. 1215E reported that the neighbors were shooting and would like someone to talk to them. No one was at the residence when officers arrived but others in the area said the neighbors had been shooting off fireworks.

5:59 p.m. - A caller on SR 57N reported a reckless driver on a motorcycle.

5:50 p.m. - A suspicious vehicle was reported in the Plainville Park. When officers arrived, the vehicle was no longer there.

1:31 p.m. - An employee of Chuckles, 601 W. Elnora St, Odon, reported a vehicle drove off without paying for $15.02 in fuel.

10:47 a.m. - A white Chevy truck loaded with furniture was reported abandoned in the parking lot of the old Bethany Church. The truck had been sitting in the lot for four days.  The plate was ran and the owner was unavailable.
