Police Report




5:25 p.m. – Steve Grannan advised someone lost two 1-gallon cans of white paint that spilled in the street at 510 Sunset Ave.

1:47 p.m. – Destiny Martoglio reported her medications were taken from her unlocked vehicle.

She was unsure where the theft occurred.



8:12 p.m. – Megan L. Kelsey, 17, Odon, was westbound on CR 1600N in a 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo registered to Christopher J. Kelsey when she swerved right to miss a deer and drove off the north side of the roadway near CR 800E. She swerved back onto the roadway, overcorrected and drove off the north side into a ditch. The vehicle turned over multiple times before coming to rest on its top. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated between $5,000 and $10,000.

Nov. 27

5:19 p.m. – Mikeal W. Brock, 54, Williams, was driving north on I69 in a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado registered to Hoosier Energy, Bloomington.

Near the 58-mile marker he moved into the left lane to pass a semi, and the semi began to drift into his lane causing him to go off the road and strike a guard rail. The pickup went out of control, hit a concrete barrier wall and came to rest in the middle of the northbound lanes.

Brock was wearing his seat belt and his airbag deployed. He was trapped in the vehicle, but no injuries were reported. Damage was estimated between $5,000 and $10,000.
