Prejudging for Fair contest

WASHINGTON — Prejudging for Fair contest

Prejudging for the Daviess County Fair’s Little Miss and Mister contest will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Elnora Fire Station.

Washington board meeting

The Washington School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the corporate offices, 301 E. South Street. An executive session and work session will be held prior to the meeting.

Items on the agenda include: Personnel, curriculum update, federal health care impact, hold harmless resolution, elementary/secondary fees, milk/bread bids, policies, letter for unexcused absences, transfer student policy, moisture management and field trip request.

Tristate benefit in Winslow

Tristate Wrestling will be hosting a fundraising event for the Pike County Special Olympics at the Winslow Community Center on June 29. Doors open at 6 p.m. Bell time will be 7 p.m.
