Thursday

11:46 a.m. - Ptl. Craig Cox said there were limbs and branches on Front Street. The city Street Department was contacted.

10:30 a.m. - A female caller said a pumpkin was taken off her porch at 606 Cosby St. Extra patrol was requested.

5:37 a.m. - An employee of Stephen’s Lawn Care, 508 Railroad St., said the business was broken into. A lawnmower, four trimmers and two leaf blowers were reported missing.

2:24 a.m. - A male caller said two individuals were near a window at a vacant home on N.E. Ninth St. The persons ran off before officers could arrive.

Wednesday

11:07 p.m. - Ptl. Brandon Humphries said a male patient ran away from Daviess Community Hospital’s emergency room. The male was later found at N.E. 13th Street and Bedford Road and was later taken back to the hospital. The male thought he was in trouble.

8:05 p.m. - A female caller reported a fight at 900 S. Meridian St. Two females were separated.

6:56 p.m. - A female caller said a brick was thrown through a truck window at 110 S.E. Third St. Fingerprinting was requested.

4:03 p.m. - A male caller at 108 Jamestown Square said a woman who was staying at his apartment had taken his car. No other information was available.

COUNTY REPORT

Wednesday

4:10 p.m. - A male caller reported several propane tanks floating in water in a ditch on Old Vincennes Road. A deputy fished out the tanks.

3:08 p.m. - A caller reported an accident without injuries near 11480E 1200N. An accident report was being completed.

ARRESTS

Melvin Harden, 33, Odon, was arrested by Odon police Wednesday on a failure to appear warrant for check deception. He was being held at the Daviess County Security Center on $2,000 bond.

Jose Martinez, 25, no address given, was arrested by city police Wednesday for public intoxication. He was being held on $2,000 bond.
