8:08 a.m. - Brandy Rainey reported an accident without injuries on Meridian and Van Trees streets. An accident report is being completed.

4:11 a.m. - An employee of Perdue Farms, 321 Clark Road, said a truck hit a utility pole and downed some power lines. A line crew was called and power was restored.



9:04 p.m. - Dennis R. Stepanek, 6582S 1000E, said he saw someone going through his truck. The person took off when Stepanek saw them. The person could not be found.

5:07 p.m. - A male caller said a male on a red ATV was trespassing property on CR 150S. The male was seen at the Washington Conservation Club and then headed towards New Hope Christian Church. The rider was unable to be located.

2:53 p.m. - A female caller said she and her dogs are being sprayed with ammonia at 107 W. Third St., Cannelburg, by another female. The incident was over dogs disrupting a walker. The caller was advised to control the dogs but the walker was advised not to spray ammonia and purchase a dog repellant.

8:56 a.m. - A caller at 2012S 325E reported an attempted break-in into his garage. No entry was gained, but pry marks were found on a window. Extra patrol was requested.


Robert Elwood Doolin, 35, Washington, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff's deputies Monday on a warrant for receiving stolen property, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He was released from the Daviess County Security Center on $5,000 bond.

Beau Dustin McDowell, 34, Vincennes, was arrested by sheriff's deputies Monday on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. He was being held on $60,000 bond.
