WASHINGTON — CITY REPORT

Tuesday

8:45 p.m.- Karen Rayman, 1506 Grand Ave., reported that her oven was on fire.

5:06 p.m. - A caller on Eighth Street reported that when she returned home, a male subject had asked her if she wanted to purchase drugs. The male subject had left the area and was later found near Front and Robinson streets. The male subject was identified as Curtis P. Teepe.

12:38 p.m. - A caller at the Prescription Shoppe, 2005 State St., reported a counterfeit $50 had been turned into their store. The bill was taken to Old National Bank.

12:06 p.m. - A caller at Daviess Community Hospital advised that Michael Gerbig, 26, was in the emergency room. Gerbig stated he had totaled his moped between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. behind Mason’s Drive-In and that he had struck a pole. Officers could not locate the pole or moped. Around 6:40 p.m., dispatchers received a call from Christy Burchell, Vincennes Avenue, Burchell reported that she had a moped that had either been wrecked or taken apart on her property. The moped was identified as belonging to Gerbig.

COUNTY REPORT

Monday

1:52 p.m. - A caller was cleaning up after a fire at 2693S 325E and an unknown female with an ankle bracelet came by several times to ask when the crew would be leaving for lunch. The clean up crew has found paraphernalia and marijuana residue at the scene. This was reported to community corrections.

12:41 p.m. - A caller on station reported that someone had taken several items from his mother’s house on CR 100N.

11:47 a.m. - A caller at 4749S 100E reported that someone had run through his fence last night and left a portion of their vehicle on his property. Some of the caller’s cattle were also loose because of the damaged fence.

ARRESTS

Nicholas Lanning, 27, Petersburg, was arrested Monday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while intoxicated over .15 percent. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Roger Alan Levi, 63, Washington, was arrested Monday by Washington police as a habitual traffic offender. No bond was set.

Curtis Paul Teepe, 30, Washington, was arrested Monday by Washington police on four counts of possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of a legend drug, possession of paraphernalia, and conspiracy to commit dealing in a controlled substance.Bond was set at $14,500.

Jerry Betz, 26, Odon, was arrested Tuesday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department for intimidation. No bond was set.
