WASHINGTON — CITY REPORT

Sunday

7:46 p.m. - An accident with injuries was reported at the intersection of W. Walnut and N.W. 10th streets. One person refused medical treatment. An accident report is being completed.

9:52 a.m. - An employee of Circle K reported a syringe on Cosby Street and E. Nat’l Highway. The syringe was picked up and disposed of.

COUNTY REPORT

Sunday

10:04 a.m. - A caller advised someone had smashed he and his neighbors’ mailboxes and ran over a decorative name post overnight. The neighbor heard commotion and noticed an older model Ford truck in a dark color take off around 1 a.m.

Saturday

11:21 a.m. - Washington police received a complaint of possible meth clumps on tree at St. John’s Cemetery. Someone is also stealing vases off of graves.

4:44 p.m. - An employee of Fast Max, Elnora, reported someone drove off with

$21.38 in fuel.

9:22 p.m. - A caller advised of a possible drunk driver headed south on Edwardsport Road. The vehicle was driving slow and throwing items out the window.

ARRESTS

Daniel Isaiah Callahan, 29, Plainville, was arrested Sunday by Washington police for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. No bond was set.

Everett Lee Canary, 69, Montgomery, was arrested Sunday by Washington police on two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person. He was released on $4,500 bond.

Kevin Dakota Flax, 25, Washington, was arrested Sunday by Washington Police on a warrant for resisting law enforcement, and battery resulting in bodily injury, and new charges of resisting law enforcement. No bond was set.

Jacky Ray Hinkle, 42, Washington, was arrested Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was released on $2,000 bond.

Jason Swartzentruber, 33, Montgomery, was arrested Sunday by Odon police for battery. He was released on $2,000 bond.

Sherry Young, 48, Loogootee, was arrested Saturday by Indiana State Police for failure to appear for conversion. She was released on $2,000 bond.

Allen Ray Yoder, 22, Montgomery, was arrested Saturday by the Daviess County Sheriff's Department for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was released on $2,000 bond.

Larry R. Bentley, 45, Washington, was arrested by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department Friday on three counts of forgery, attempted possession of a controlled substance, and receiving stolen property. He was released on $2,500 bond.
