COUNTY REPORT

Thursday

5:03 p.m. - A caller on U.S. 50 near McAllister’s reported a truck weaving all over the road.

2:36 p.m. - A caller on U.S. 50 near Montgomery reported a minor accident.

12:07 p.m. - A caller at 1717S SR 257 reported that she had been shopping since 11 a.m. and just noticed that someone had hit her green Pontiac Solstice.

12:01 p.m. - A caller on Old Nat’l Hwy. reported that someone had broken into his garage. The caller was unsure of what had been taken.

11:48 a.m. - An employee of Chuckles, Odon, reported that a green mini van drove off without paying for $52.79 in gas.

10:02 a.m. - An employee of Fast Max, SR 57, Elnora, reported that female in a large, white SUV prepaid for $100 in gas then drove off without paying for an additional $57.82 in gas.

8:30 a.m. - A caller on Bloomfield Road in Plainville reported that his neighbor had shot at his dog. The caller wanted someone to speak with the neighbor about firing a gun in the town.

8:04 a.m. - A caller on CR 450S near the round barn reported that four or five cows were out of the pasture. Tony Barber was contacted to see if the cattle were his, but Barber was unable to locate any loose animals.

7:30 a.m. - A caller on CR 1200E near Cannelburg reported a brown horse was running loose on St. Mary’s Road and had just passed Mattingly Feed.

Friday

2:48 p.m. - Gary Leffler, 1211 N.E. Second St., reported someone had gotten into his 2003 Cadillac while it was parked at his residence. Leffler did not believe any items were missing from the vehicle, but the vehicle had been ransacked.

1:18 p.m. - A caller on Walnut Street reported that the windows had been busted out of an abandoned residence located at 617 W. Walnut St.
