Applications for the queen contest and little miss and mister contest for the Daviess County Fair can be found on the fair website, www.daviesscofair.com or by contacting Kay Stafford at 486-6737.

Hart to speak at Odon

Ruth Hart of Newberry will be at the Odon Winklepleck Public Library on May 13 at 6:30 p.m. to share her experiences visiting her daughter in Kuwait. All are invited to the library basement community room to learn about this fascinating country visited by few from the area. Sponsorship for the event is by the community Bible study group which meets at the library.

B-R chorus program

The Barr-Reeve High School chorus will present its Spring Chorus Concert Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. in the Barr-Reeve cafeteria. Prior to the concert there will be a meal served from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., followed by an award program at 6:45 p.m. The meal will consist of Mr. Gatti’s pizza, salad, dessert, and a drink for $6 per ticket. Preschool and under are free. Admission to the concert only is free. Call Mrs. Hawkins at the school to order tickets at 486-3265 or purchase them at the door.
