WASHINGTON — CITY REPORT

Tuesday

10:25 p.m. - Gena Wade advised there was a suspicious male walking southbound in the alley near 801 SE Third St. The suspect kept asking if police were around and was wearing a blue shirt, blue hat and was carrying something. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

8:56 p.m. - Sheena Jerome reported at the station that her $3,000 engagement ring was either missing or had been stolen from her vehicle. Jerome works at a melon packing shed in Oaktown where she cannot wear jewelry. Jerome said she had taken the ring off in her car before going into work and she believed her car was locked.

5:05 p.m. - Marvin Holstine from the Produce Patch, Harned Ave. and SR 57, said that a neighbor had noticed a red and gray pick-up truck with a camper shell enter the business lot between 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. and load up plants. Extra patrol was assigned to the area.

COUNTY REPORT

Tuesday

3:08 p.m. - A caller on CR 575E in Elnora reported that a camera had been taken from the kitchen of the residence either Saturday while at a baby shower or Sunday while the resident was at church.

ARRESTS

Kourtney Nicole Padgett, 21, Washington, was arrested by Washington police Tuesday for theft. She was released on $2,500 bond from the Daviess County Security Center.

Caleb Christopher Shumaker, 19, Washington, was arrested by Washington police Tuesday for theft. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Daniel Gerard Miller, 49, Washington, was arrested by Washington police Wednesday on two counts of petition to revoke suspended sentence for dealing in a schedule II controlled substance and for failure to return to lawful detention. Bond was set at $350,000.
