2:19 p.m. - Dave Waters, 200 1/2 SE 7th St., reported that someone had broken into his storage building and broke the windows out of the vehicles stored there. Waters also said that someone had smashed in the roofs on many of the vehicles. Extra patrol was requested.

11:40 a.m. - An employee of Fast Max, 1200 E. Nat’l Hwy, reported that a black Mercedes SUV that is a frequent customer, swiped a card at the pump but the card was declined.

The person drove off without paying for $94.41 in gasoline. Employees were unable to get a license plate number but have the subject on video camera.

10:14 a.m. - Cheryl Mumma, 520 Ogdon St., reported that she had found a black duffle bag with syringes and other medical supplies in her back yard. Officers picked up the bag.


7:48 p.m - Nancy Stemm, 604 E. Meridian St., reported that she had just arrived home and found a purse and other belongings scattered in the alley behind her house.



2:04 p.m. - Mitch Hodges, 800 Russell Ave., Chandler, Ind., reported there has been a copper theft and would like a report.

9:47 a.m. - A caller on CR 900E in Odon advised she had hit a deer, flipped her car and was now partially entrapped. The Odon Fire Department was dispatched and the vehicle was towed.


Justin Cole Crosby, 30, Indianapolis, was arrested by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department Tuesday for failure to appear. Bond was set at $2,500.

Tabitha L. Willis, 39, Winslow, was arrested by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department Tuesday on three counts of domestic battery, battery resulting in bodily injury, and resisting law enforcement. Bond was set at $6,000.
