Four arrested in meth bust

WASHINGTON — Four Washington residents were arrested Friday night following a meth lab bust.

At 1:40 a.m. Friday, city officers noticed a smell near 902 W. Walnut St.

Inside, they found four people who were then arrested and taken to the Daviess County Security Center.

Among the arrested, with charges, were:

Matthew Eric Wininger, 35, Washington, on a warrant out of Pike County for writ of attachment and 16 new charges including manufacturing meth, dealing meth, possession of meth, visiting a common nuisance, possession of paraphenalia, and 11 counts of unlawful possession of a syringe.

Marilyn J. Schwartz, 59, five counts of manufacturing meth, dealing meth, possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphenalia, and 11 counts of unlawful possession of a syringe.

Terry A. Russell, 56, five counts manufacturing meth, dealing meth, possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphenalia, and 11 counts of unlawful possession of a syringe.

Carly Rae Cornwell, 31, five counts of manufacturing meth, dealing meth, possession of meth, visiting a common nuisance, possession of paraphenalia, and 16 counts of unlawful possession of a syringe.

Bond was set at $203,300 for Wininger and Russell faces a $2,000 bond.

Cornwell and Schwartz each face $100,000 bonds.
