CITY REPORT

Tuesday

10:49 a.m. - Teresa Horsting, 703 S.E. Second St. reported her car was broken into the night before. Cash and medication was taken.

Monday

5:50 p.m. - A female caller said three juvenile boys were throwing rocks at Cornerstone Christian School on W. Main Street. A window was broken and the juveniles were taken to their parents.

CITY ACCIDENT

Monday

7:42 a.m. - Janell G. Eaker, 45, 511 N.E. First St., was driving a 2005 Ford Explorer south on N.E. First Street when she was hit by a 2007 Jeep Liberty heading west on Flora Street, driven by Arthur V. Price, 64, 280E 250S.

Eaker had shoulder pain from the accident and damage was estimated between

$10,000 and $25,000.

COUNTY REPORT

Monday

8:43 a.m. - A caller reported trash found on CR 400N. The trash had mail with names and addresses on it.

7:07 a.m. - A male caller at Maysville Trailer Court said his truck was stolen. The vehicle is a blue Ford F-150 with an Outdoor World sticker on it. A report was made.

6:20 a.m. - A caller reported a car vs. deer accident on I-69, three miles south of Washington. A minor accident report was made.

COUNTY ACCIDENTS

Tuesday

9:59 a.m. - Amanda L. Neukam, 33, Montgomery, was driving a 2002 Saturn LS1 west on the U.S. 50 bypass and was attempting to turn left on SR 57 when she was hit by a 2009 International semi driven by Daniel J. Halter, 58, 1510W 150N. Halter was not in the turn lane. Neukam told deputies she saw him, but could not stop in time to stop an accident. She complained of neck pain.

Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.

Monday

10:02 a.m. - Carol J. Wilkes, 59, Vincennes, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox west on the U.S. 50 bypass near the SR 257 intersection when she was hit by a passing 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by April D. Wisner, 30, Loogootee. Wisner was attempting to get into the right lane. Wilkes complained of back pain and Wisner was cited for failure to maintain financial responsibility. Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.

ARRESTS

Mack Kenneth Henson, 19, Washington, was arrested by city police Tuesday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a controlled substance and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person. He was being held at the Daviess County Security Center on $4,000 bond.

John Charles Jackson, 22, North Vernon, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff¹s deputies Tuesday on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for theft. he was released on $5,000 bond.

Sara Lynn Joliff, 31, Brazil, was arrested by sheriff¹s deputies Tuesday on a failure to appear warrant for theft and receiving stolen property. She was released on $7,500 bond.
