Author Jane Hoeppner to speak

Wife of IU football coach to deliver inspirational message for area women

---- — Author Jane Hoeppner, wife of the late Indiana University football coach, Terry Hoeppner, will be in Washington Aug. 22 and women of all ages are invited to hear her inspirational message about a never-quit attitude.

Hoeppner is the keynote speaker for the Daviess County Community Foundation’s Women’s Giving Circle annual Dessert before Dinner. The event is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Padaco event facility, 2000 State St. Co-sponsored by German American Bank, the cost is $10 and as in previous years, a variety of desserts are on the menu.

Hoeppner’s inspirational talk will tell the love story of her life with late IU football coach, Terry Hoeppner. Coach Hoeppner was intrigued with the fact that regardless of profession, achievers shared a commonality — they learned to persevere. According to Jane Hoeppner, this became the hallmark of their life together. Those attending will be able to learn about her personal insights on their shared simple belief — if you don’t quit, you have a chance.
