Truck found burned out

CITY REPORT

Friday

3:08 a.m. - Chris Later, 803 N.W. Sixth St., reported that John Sturgeon broke into the residence through a garage window. Later told dispatch that Sturgeon was currently being treated for injuries related to the break-in at Daviess Community Hospital. No items were taken from the residence.

1:39 a.m.- Robert Baxter, Meridian Street, reported that a utility pole was on fire.

Thursday

8:16 p.m. - Daniel Wilkins reported a large hole in the middle of the roadway near S.E. First Street and Indiana Avenue.

7:39 p.m.- Paula Clark, Hefron Street, reported that her laptop had been stolen. Clark’s residence had been broken into earlier but she had not noticed the laptop missing until now.

2:08 p.m. - A caller located near U.S. 50 and SR 57 reported that a black GMC Sierra was passing vehicles in double yellow no passing zones and there were vehicles coming the other direction.

1:08 p.m. - Mistee Hayes, 406 S.E. Sixth St., reported that her payroll check had been stolen.

8:56 a.m. - Yulianna Ayala, 307 N.W. Seventh St., reported that someone had broke into her home and taken cash, a personal check and a payroll check.

Thursday

6:39 p.m. - A caller at the Oak Grove Church reported that a tan station wagon had been sitting in the church parking lot the last three days. The owner of the vehicle was not found.

7:25 a.m.- A caller on Old Bedford Road reported a truck, possibly a blue Dodge had been burnt out. The vehicle was on its top and had no wheels.
