WASHINGTON — CITY REPORT

Tuesday

3:56 a.m. - Horses were reported loose in the Cosby Road and CR 150 area. The owners of the horses were contacted, and they returned them home.

12:10 p.m. - The front door of a residence on McCormick Ave was reported damaged and a lock on a garage broken. An air compressor was taken from the garage.

Monday

8:07 p.m. - Christmas decorations were taken from 909 Jersey St.

12:20 p.m. - Dogs were reported running loose in an ally on SE 7th St. The owner was contacted and the dogs returned home.

12:09 p.m. - Power outages in the E. VanTrees and 11th St. area was reported. A power transformer caught fire. Members of the Washington Fire Department and linemen reported to the scene.

10:40 a.m. - Christmas decorations were reported vandalized at 118 Mill St.

10:08 a.m. - A 22 caliber Ruger with gun sight was reported missing from 507 E. South St.

Sunday

4:06 p.m. - A strong smell of natural gas was reported near the Daviess County Museum. A Vectren technician reported a valve was leaking outside the building and the situation was not dangerous. An orange cone was placed on the leaking valve.

ARRESTS

Molly Kay Moreland, 35, Washington, was arrested Monday by county deputies, for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and OVWI endangerment. She is being held in the Daviess County Security Department on a $4,000 bond.
