WASHINGTON — Washington Church of Christ is hosting a “Give From the Heart” blood drive from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday through the Indiana Blood Center. Donations through the Indiana Blood Center are offered to Hoosier hospitals first. The IBC is offering a $5 Subway gift card to anyone who gives in this blood drive. RTL accepting memberships

Daviess and Martin County Right To Life Organizations are having their Annual Membership/Donation Drive through the month of February.

Many of you may have already received a letter in the mail asking you to renew your membership or for your contribution. If you have not received a letter by mail and wish to contribute just mail your contribution to Right To Life, P.O. Box 41, Washington, IN 47501.

Or you can go online at www.daviesscountyrtl.com and at the bottom of the page click “Donate” or under the “Info Tab” at the top, select “Membership Info” and follow the instructions.

WHS cheerleaders hosting ‘night out’

The Washington High School Cheerleaders will host a Girls' Night Out for girls in kindergarten through 6th grade on Saturday, Feb. 23 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Griffith elementary gym.

Come hang out with the cheerleaders on a Saturday  evening.

Activities will include: dancing, cheering, painting nails, pictures, games, and pizza!

You may return the form and $20 registration fee in an envelope to the Activities Office at the high school or mail to the address below. Make checks payable to “WHS Cheer Boosters.”
