WASHINGTON — Correction

On a quote made from Vince Sellers in Tuesday’s edition on a story about the old Daviess County home, two words were used incorrectly. The quotation should have said: “I have offered to help him for a year and a half.”

We apologize for the error.

Park Board

meets today

The Washington Park and Recreation Board will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, in the Council Chambers, 200 Harned Avenue.

All interested citizens and patrons of any of the three parks - Eastside, Longfellow, and South Park, are welcome to attend. Your comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

to meet

Washington Community Schools board will meet in executive session at 6:15 p.m. Thursday to discuss collective bargaining. The regular session will be at 7 p.m. Items included on the agenda: student recognition; library board appointment; BPA national competition.

Conservation Club to meet

The Washington Conservation Club stockholders will meet at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the club house on Donaldson Road.
