Friday

2:07 p.m. - An employee of Wal-Mart, 1801 S. SR 57, said a male and female were shoplifting items and left in a green Jeep Cherokee. The SUV was seen heading west on the U.S. 50 bypass. The suspects were identified on video.

1:20 p.m. - An employee of Wal-Mart, 1801 S. SR 57, found 35 scratch-off lottery tickets on the service desk counter. The tickets were fake lottery tickets.

COUNTY REPORT

7:14 p.m. - A caller reported a leaf blower was taken from 10335E 1250N. A report was completed.

COUNTY ACCIDENT

Thursday

4:06 p.m. - Jessica L. Combs, 21, Evansville, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Uplander west on CR 700S when she slowed for a school bus stop arm. The car was hit from behind by a 2007 Toyota Corolla driven by Mary J. Edwards, 41, Loogootee. There were no injuries and damage was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.

ARRESTS

Linda Abel, 42, Indianapolis, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. She was being held at the Daviess County Security Center on $100,000 bond.
