CITY REPORTS

Thursday

3:02 p.m. - The school resource officer at Washington High School requested extra patrols to deal with students throwing water balloons and shooting water guns at passing vehicles and pedestrians.

3:41 p.m. - An officer was stopped by a motorist on Northeast Seventh Street near the high school complaining that the windshield of a vehicle was cracked after being struck by a water balloon.

3:44 p.m. - Officers were called to a minor traffic accident on the parking lot of Fast Max at 1202 East Nat’l Hwy.

5:42 p.m. - Police received a report from Chuckles at 201 NE Fifth St. that someone had pumped $50.31 in gas and drove off without paying.

7:42 p.m. - Police received a report of a traffic accident involving a car and a pole on the Wal-Mart parking lot at 100 Bypass 50 Plaza.

Thursday

8:36 p.m. - Officers were called to the Daviess Community Hospital to obtain some information on James L. Goodheart, who had been involved in an ATV accident near the river bottoms in Elnora.

7:14 p.m. - A caller near 12524 E. 350 N., Loogootee, reported a vehicle hit a retaining wall in front of a residence. Air Evac was called and a state report was filed.

3:22 p.m. - A caller on SR 58 E. near Odon reported that a small, white truck had ran the stop arm on a school bus and then pulled into the liquor store.

12:59 p.m. - A caller near 500 N. and 650 E. reported a semi was off in a ditch blocking the road. No injuries or damage was reported.

11:56 a.m. - A caller at 1176 S. SR 57 reported someone had broke into his residence and took several items including a gun. The caller also mentioned that whomever broke in left something behind that had belonged to the father of the caller.

7:59 a.m. - A caller near 7341 E. 1400 N., Elnora, reported a personal injury accident involving juveniles. One of the juveniles was trapped in the vehicle, two juveniles were able to get out of the vehicle, another juvenile suffered cuts, and the driver of the vehicle had no injuries. Air Evac was contacted and one of the juveniles was transported to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
