WASHINGTON — CITY REPORT

Monday

2:30 p.m. - Asst. Chief Todd Church was flagged down by a resident at 911 Maxwell Ave to report a theft.

11:14 a.m. - Richard Wright, 805 W. Walnut St., said a black scooter was left in an alley. It was picked up.

6:34 a.m. - Brad Racey, 1 E. George St., reported his truck was broken into the night before.

1:04 a.m. - Laura Ayala, who was picking someone up from the Angle Inn, 710 W. Nat'l Hwy., had her vehicle vandalized. Two tires were flattened and a fender was dented.

Sunday

6:38 p.m. - Sarah Abel, 803 E. Walnut St. reported a basketball goal was stolen. The person who stole the goal returned it later and thought the goal was trash.

COUNTY REPORT

Sunday

11:46 p.m. - A caller advised he swerved to miss a raccoon on I-69 near mile marker 55 and went off the road. A mile marker sign was hit and the vehicle was towed.

8:05 p.m. - A caller reported a vehicle was on the side of the road on I-69 near U.S. 50. The vehicle matched the description of a car involved in a drug investigation. The car was searched, but nothing was found.

9:55 a.m. - A fire alarm was reported at Parkview Village in Odon.

Firefighters were not called because the fire alarm was made for burned toast.

COUNTY ACCIDENTS

Saturday

8:47 a.m. - Emilee M. Walls, 18, 5500S 100W, was driving a 2006 Buick Lucerne south on CR 100W when she collided with a 1986 GM medium-duty dump truck, driven by Jon D. Williams, 39, 705 W. Nat'l Hwy. Walls did not see the truck who was unloading rock for a driveway on the road, due to the foggy conditions. Deputies found there were no warning signs, nor reflective clothing worn by Williams. Williams failed to yield for traffic, deputies wrote. Walls received injuries to her face and wrist and damage was estimated between $10,000 and $25,000.

Friday

2:49 p.m. - Randy Bouchie, 53, 1840S 300W, was driving a 2001 GMC Sierra and trailer north on CR 300W when the trailer was hit by a 2005 Dodge Caravan driven by Judith K. Mize, 73, Odon. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.

ARRESTS

Jillian Brooke Kendall, 26, Montgomery, was arrested by city police Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated refusal, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, possession of marijuana and possession of a Schedule III controlled substance. She was released to the Daviess County Security Center on $8,500 bond.

Dale H. Lucas, 25, Washington, was arrested by city police Friday on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for forgery and a failure to appear warrant. He was being held on $10,000 bond.

Ronald Dean Osborn II, 21, Vincennes, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff¹s deputies Friday on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for maintaining a common nuisance. He was being held on $5,000 bond.

Robert Regalado, 58, Vincennes, was arrested by city police Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated refusal. He was being held on $2,000 bond.

Chaz Malcom Elofson, 32, no address given, was arrested by sheriff's deputies Saturday for public intoxication, resisting law enforcement and a failure to appear warrant for battery resulting in bodily injury. He was being held without bond.

Charity Anne Wagler, 31, Montgomery, was arrested by city police Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a controlled substance, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person and possession of marijuana. She was being held without bond.

Christopher Clark, 35, Washington, was arrested by city police Sunday for criminal mischief and battery. He was being held without bond.

LOOGOOTEE ARREST

Jonathan D. Zehr, 21, Loogootee, was arrested by Loogootee police Sunday for domestic battery and criminal confinement. He was being held at the Martin County Security Center.

KNOX COUNTY ARREST

Elias A. Brock, 42, Vincennes, was arrested by state police and Vincennes police Sunday after officers found a possible meth lab in one of the rooms at the Econo Lodge. While officers were waiting for a search warrant, Brock went into the room. During the search, officers found 448 grams of meth.

Brock was charged with manufacturing meth over 3 grams, possession of meth over 3 grams and possession of precursors. He was being held at the Knox County Jail.
