WASHINGTON — Foot clinic at SAFS

The Neat Feet Clinic will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Senior and Family Services, 211 E. Main St. A registered nurse from Daviess Community Hospital will trim and file toenails and assess feet for any abnormalities. Cost is $25 and appointments must be made by calling 254-8855.

Geraniums for sale

Daviess County 4-H Jr. Leaders are once again selling geraniums. They are in a 3.5" pot and ready to bloom. Prices are $1.50 per plant or a flat of 18 plants for $25. Contact your local 4-H member or call the extension office at 254-8668. Geraniums will be ready for pick-up on May 3, at the arena from

4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

B-R to hold music program

Students in grades K -2 from Barr-Reeve Elementary will be presenting their spring music program on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Barr-Reeve High School gym. The theme will be "A Patriotic Salute To America." The program will be under the direction of Joyce Hawkins.

Yearbooks at B-R

The 2012-2013 Barr-Reeve school yearbooks are now on sale until the end of the school year. The price of this year's 208 page book is $30. A reservation can be made by contacting Lisa Duncheon, grades 6-12; Barbara Lengacher, grades 2-5; or Debbie Hart, grades K-1.

Joint meeting on Wednesday

Daviess County Commissioners and County Council will meet in a joint executive session at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the Commissioners¹ Room at the courthouse to discuss litigation.
