WASHINGTON — CITY REPORT

Thursday

2:19 p.m. - Debbie Fields, 520 S.E. Second St., reported that her black moped was taken from her residence. The moped had been padlocked.

2:02 p.m. - Prentice Nail, 605 N.W. Second St., reported that someone had tried to gain entry into the home while he was gone. No items were missing.

Wednesday

6:10 p.m. - Ashley Dubon, 1815 McCormick Ave., reported that someone had stolen copper wire from a residence that is abandoned.



6:01 p.m. - Brianna Harrell, Westwood Crossing, reported someone had stolen her laptop.



9:38 a.m. - A complainant of Cosby Road reported a black SUV shining a flashlight into the trailers parked on the Perdue parking lot.

ARRESTS

Thomas W. Wirts, 30, Plainville, was arrested Wednesday by Washington police for writ of attachment. Bond was set at $2,500.



Jeremy A. Payton, 37, Washington, was arrested Wednesday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence for dealing cocaine, petition to revoke a suspended sentence for possession of meth and paraphanalia. Bond was set at $500,000.

Zachery Stewart, 25, Washington, was arrested Wednesday by Washington police on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence for possession of a controlled substance, and petition to revoke a suspended sentence for theft. No bond was set.
