Graduation pictures

Washington High School seniors who ordered graduation pictures may pick them up in the high school office between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday from now through July 10.

SR 57 to close in early July

The Indiana Department of Transportation announced SR 57 will be closing for repairs to the deck of the White River Bridge in Newberry.

On July 2, at about 6 a.m., maintenance crews will close SR 57 from the junction of SR 58N to the junction of SR 54S. Crews will be making repairs to the bridge 5.9 miles north of the SR 58 junction. All work is scheduled to be complete by noon July 3, weather permitting. The official detour will route traffic on SR 58, SR 67 and SR 54.
