10 a.m. - Sgt. John Lagle, while making a traffic stop on W. Nat'l Highway near Long John Silvers, asked for dispatch to contact INDOT for an extra crew to direct traffic around workcrews.
7:47 p.m. - An employee of Hometown IGA, 900 W. Nat'l Hwy., reported a shoplifter leaving the store.
7 p.m. - William Styles, 209 E. Pearl St., reported the theft of a bicycle.
5:38 p.m. - An employee of Chuckles, N.E. Fifth St., reported a drive-off worth $40.90 in gas by a red Chevrolet Blazer. The SUV was heading north on SR 57.
6:59 p.m. - A caller reported a possible reckless driver east on U.S. 50 near MacAllister's that was pulling three wagons loaded with hay. The caller said the hay from one of the wagons was about to fall off. A deputy located the vehicle on Troy Road and made sure the hay was secured.
5:15 p.m. - A caller said a black semi driving south on SR 257 was dragging its gas tank. State police and Pike County authorities were made aware.
4:48 p.m. - A male caller at 111 N. Main St., Cannelburg, reported items stolen last week. A report was made.
1:58 p.m. - A male caller at 9522N 300W reported a meth lab found on his property.
10:11 p.m. - Terry R. Hill Jr., 18, 508 W. VanTrees St., was driving a 2010 Pontiac G6 south on CR 150N near Wagner Drive when a deer ran out in front of the vehicle, causing a collision. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
Jesus Bazaldua, 22, Washington, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff's deputies Tuesday for driving while suspended. He was being held at the Daviess County Security Center without bond.
Derick Lee Clark, 19, Washington, was arrested by city police Tuesday for theft and illegal possession of alcohol. He was being held without bond.
Kevin Lee Corns, 28, Otwell, was arrested by city police Tuesday on a Greene County failure to appear warrant for theft. He was being held without bond.
