FRIDAY

10:53 a.m. - Police received a report of vandalism at the Jay C Store in Cherry Tree Plaza. The business said someone took a hammer and broke the lock on the soda machine and made off with an undetermined amount of money. They requested extra overnight patrol.

THURSDAY

3:41 p.m. - Police received a report of a burglary at a home at 400 S.E. 11th Street. Officers found a door had been left unlocked and some items were stolen from the basement.

COUNTY REPORT

THURSDAY

8:09 p.m. - A caller near 300N CR 225E reported a suspicious green passenger car pulled up next to her children and the occupant of the car showed a gun. The vehicle was not located.

6:17 p.m. - A caller at 1563E 300S reported that sometimes Wednesday someone had stolen a tractor from the barn located on the property.

5:17 p.m. - A caller at CR 150N reported a minor accident. One of the vehicles involved, a gray Astro van, had left the scene of the accident.

4:20 p.m. - A caller at 1424S SR 57 reported that a motor had been stolen off a boat belonging to Mic Shaffer.

2:46 p.m. - A caller on Old U.S. 50 W. reported a tree had fallen across the road and a line was down as well.

arrests

Ronald Robinson, 63, Plainville, was arrested Thursday by Indiana State Police for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. No bond info was available.

Haven Ramsey, 55, Washington, was arrested Thursday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence for conspiracy to commit dealing in methamphetamine. Bond was set at $100,000.
