WASHINGTON —

7:26 a.m. - A caller at 3019S 800E, near Montgomery, reported that her mailbox had been knocked down overnight. The caller also advised that several other mailboxes in the area had been knocked over as well.

1:47 a.m. - A caller on Raglesville Road, Odon, reported a noise disturbance that sounded like gunshots every 20 minutes. The caller advised the noise could be fireworks.

1:01 a.m. - A caller at 1559N Sugarland Road, reported that a vehicle just wrecked in front of her house. The vehicle was towed and a state report will be filed. The county highway department was also notified of damage to a concrete culvert.

Tuesday

8:30 p.m. - A caller near CR 400N and CR 650E reported that a male subject was dumping cow droppings in the area. The Indiana Department of Environmental Management was contacted.

7:15 p.m. - A caller at 5049N 1215E reported that the neighbors were shooting and would like someone to talk to them. No one was at the residence when officers arrived but others in the area said the neighbors had been shooting off fireworks.

1:31 p.m. - An employee of Chuckles, 601 W. Elnora St., Odon, reported a vehicle drove off without paying for $15.02 in fuel.

10:47 a.m. - A white Chevy truck loaded with furniture was reported abandoned in the parking lot of the old Bethany Church. The truck had been sitting in the lot for four days. The plate was ran and the owner was unavailable.

ARRESTS

Gregory Scott Smith, 50, Washington was arrested Tuesday by Washington police on two counts of criminal mischief. No bond was set.

Cody Lee Clark, 28, Washington, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence. He was being held on $25,000 bond.
