WASHINGTON — RTL Baby voting ongoing

Daviess County Right To Life announced that voting has begun for the Annual “Face of Life” Baby Contest and will run until June 30. 

Voting will be available on line at $1 per vote with a minimum of $5 or by check mailed to Daviess County Right To Life, or by dropping off a check or cash at the Pregnancy Care Center at 705 Troy Road in Washington.

Blessing of the bikes

Friendship Christian Church in Princeton will hold a bike blessing start at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 30, at the church at 428 W. Lincoln St. The public is invited, and food will be furnished. At 1 p.m., there will be a ride to the Indiana Military Museum in Vincennes. Call (812) 499-8017 for more information.



Preaching rally in Red Hill

The annual Red Hill Preaching Rally held in Bridgeport, Ill.,  will be June 23- 27 beginning at 7 p.m. each night. The Vintage Gospel Lads will be leading in nightly worship.  On Sunday, Matt Proctor, President of Ozark Christian College will preach. Monday through Wednesday, Mark Bourne, minister of the First Christian Church in Merritt Island, Fla., will be preaching.  All events will be held at Red Hill High School. Moose to hold scramble

The Washington Moose Lodge No. 1080 will hold its annual mixed golf scramble on June 29 at the WCC. Cost is $55 per person (Moose members only) and includes golf, cart, two drink tickets, lunch at the course, dinner, awards and dance at Moose Lodge at 6:30 p.m. Registration is at 7:30 a.m., tee time is 8 a.m. Sign up at the Moose.
