“There’s a constant need for people to have a place to come and get a meal. That need doesn’t go away because it is a holiday,” said Riley.
The meal at Heaven’s Kitchen is also free but donations are always accepted. By the start of the new year, Heaven’s Kitchen hopes to relocate to its permanent home just a block down from its current location. “We will be able to accommodate more people there,” said Riley.

Christ United Methodist Church will also be serving a free Thanksgiving meal at the church for those in need from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Call 254-3864 for more information.

Meridian, will be serving Thursday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Victory Tabernacle will be serving from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. both Wednesday and Thursday at the church located at 1419 W. Walnut St.
