8:09 p.m. - An employee at Chuckles at 201 NE 5th St. reported a large Dodge truck drove off without paying for $49.34 in gas.
7:01 p.m. - Police received a report that someone drove off from Chuckles at 201NE 5th St. without paying for $23.04 in gas.
2:02 p.m. - A woman told police her vehicle was vandalized while parked in the IGA parking lot.
3:00 p.m. - Police were called to 106 SE 4th St. to investigate the theft of a cell phone.
6:11 p.m. - A resident reported someone used a baseball bat to smash the windshield of a vehicle at 401 E. Hefron St.
11:49 a.m. - Work One at 219 E. Main St. reported someone took their scale for mail.
6:30 p.m. - A caller on CR 150N. reported someone had been poaching on his property.
6:00 p.m. - A caller on I-69 near mile marker 55 reported hitting a deer.
2:27 p.m. - A meth lab was reported on Dewey Avenue.
1:55 p.m. - A fire was reported at 2756N. 750E. near Montgomery. No other details were available as of press time.
4:06 a.m. - An employee of Chuckles, no address given, reported a drive off of $50.01.
4:58 p.m. - A caller on CR 150N. reported that her neighbors are still trespassing on her property and she has the neighbors on camera.
7:12 a.m. - A caller at 1239W. 550S. reported that his son went out to the farm and noticed that the pole barn had been broken into. Tools and power equipment were taken.
3:49 a.m. - A caller on SR 57 reported hitting a deer.
7:55 a.m. - The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department was called to a one vehicle accident on CR 700S just east of CR 1000E. Brianna M. Taylor, 16, of Loogootee told deputies she was driving west on 700S when she swerved her vehicle to avoid a rabbit in the road. The car went off the road and struck a small embankment. Tayor was not injured. The 1995 Chevy Camaro she was driving sustained between $1,000 and $2,500 damage.
Shane Wallace, 19, of Washington was arrested by Washington P.D. on charges of criminal conversion and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. He is being held in the Daviess County Jail on $4,500 bond.

2:43 a.m. - A caller north of Perdue Feedmill reported a fire that was visible from Edwardsport Road. The Plainville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the turkey barn located at on 550N. at 2:53 a.m. The barn, owned by Ron and Christy Healy, was destroyed by fire. No other details were available at press time.
