9:11 a.m. - A female caller reported several calls of a 70-year-old male living in a storage garage on S.E. 21st Street after being evicted from Jamestown Square. Officers talked with the owner of the building, who then spoke with the male. The man has a daughter he lives with nearby.


9:05 p.m. - A female caller said a man tried to break in 710 Center St. Officers caught up with a male that matched the description given by the caller. He was not the person suspected of trying to break into the house.



11:20 a.m. - An employee of Hallmark, 1717 SR 57S, Suite F, said a deposit was stolen. An investigation is ongoing.

7:18 a.m. - A special education bus driver reported that she was traveling on CR 1100E when a semi heading in the opposite direction knocked off a mirror to the bus.



10:02 a.m. - Erica N. Stoll, 32, Odon, was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer east on CR 1100N near CR 575E when the SUV ran off the road. Stoll had a contusion to her head and damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.


James J. Goodheart, 28, Elnora, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies Monday for battery on an endangered adult and battery on a minor. He was being held at the Daviess County Security Center on $4,500 bond.

William J. Messerli, 22, Washington, was arrested by city police Monday on a failure to appear warrant. He was being held on $5,000 bond.

Nicholas D. Patterson, 19, Washington, was arrested by city police Monday for possession of marijuana. He was released on $2,000 bond.

Danita L. Stuckey, 21, Washington, was arrested by city police Monday on a failure to appear warrant. She was was being held on $2,000 bond.
