10:06 a.m. - City police were called to an accident on SR 57S. A vehicle went off the road and into a ditch in front of Paws and Pets. No one was injured.

12:25 p.m. - Police investigated an accident involving a Daviess-Martin Co-op school bus. Officers say the south-bound bus had stopped at the railroad tracks on N.E. Twenty-first Street and was struck in the rear by a green minivan. The bus had minor damage and the grill of the van was smashed. The van then left the scene. An hour and half later a woman and her son came to the police station and the son admitted to being the driver of the van. Police cited Matthew Babrick for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

6:30 a.m. - A man reported to police that someone broke into his Buick overnight while it was parked in the driveway at his residence at 508 Meredith St. Nothing was missing from the vehicle.



5:45 p.m. - A caller on Center Street, Odon, reported someone had busted windows at the residence.

3:19 p.m. - A caller on SR 58 near North Daviess Schools, reported an older model white car speeding in a school zone.

3:33 a.m. - Employees of Stop and Sea in Montgomery reported a breaking and entering.


Sheldon Kempf, 19, Petersburg, was arrested by Washington police Tuesday for theft. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Christopher Archer, 24, Gentryville, was arrested by Washington police Tuesday on two counts of child molesting. Bond was set at $5,000.

Knox County

The Knox County Sheriff’s Department SWAT team arrested Eraina Milligan, 54, Vincennes, Tuesday after several complaints of possible drug activity were reported. A search warrant located drug paraphernalia, marijuana, and over $1,300 cash. Milligan was taken into custody and is being held in the Knox County Jail on maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, and probation violation.
