Special Bingo at Eagles

There will be a special Eagles bingo Saturday. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Mom-to-Mom meets Monday

Mom-to-Mom is a community breastfeeding support group sponsored by Indiana WIC and the Pregnancy Care Center. The goal is to provide education, encouragement, and support for any expecting and breastfeeding women in the area. Your baby is always welcome! The monthly meeting will be Monday, 6 p.m., at the Pregnancy Care Center, 705 Troy Road, Washington. The topic will be "Out and About with a Nursing Baby." You may bring a simple snack to share. Drinks will be provided. You will earn Baby Bucks or Precious Rewards vouchers for attending. Questions or concerns may be directed to Rebecca Moeller 486-7264 call/text.

Loogootee board to meet

Loogootee Community School Corporation Board of School Trustees will meet in executive session at 6:30 p.m. to receive information about a prospective employee.

The open session will be at 7 p.m. Items included on the agenda: bus fuel; public library appointment; sequester impact.

B-R board to meet

Barr-Reeve Community Schools Board of School Trustees will meet at 8:30 p.m.

Tuesday. Items included on the agenda: elementary/primary principal recommendation.

ND board to meet Monday

North Daviess school board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday.

SAFS acivities for week

Monday - Daviess Community Home Health bingo, 10 a.m.; Enhance Fitness, 2:30 p.m.

Tuesday - Movie and a snack, 9:30 a.m.

Wednesday - Eastgate Manor biscuits and gravy, 8:30 a.m.; Enhance Fitness,

2:30 p.m.

Thursday - Bible study, 10 a.m.; Crochet Club, 1 p.m. Beginners welcome!

Friday - American Legion Auxiliary bingo, 10 a.m.; Enhance Fitnes, 2:30 p.m.
