---- — WC to honor LaGrange Friday

Washington Catholic Middle and High School will hold a convocation at 2:45 p.m. in the high school gymnasium for Megan LaGrange.

LaGrange, a senior, is a semifinalist for the 2014 National Merit Scholarship. She is the daughter of Duane and Diane LaGrange of Washington.

The public is invited.

Clark to speak at RTL banquet

Local County Right To Life Group has announced that Dr. Grant Clark will be the main speaker for the Right To Life Banquet which will be held Oct. 3 at the Simon J. Graber Building off the Odon Cannelburg Road. The Banquet will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The Right To Life Banquet has drawn over 600 people in the last several years and continues to be one of the largest pro-life events in the Southwest Indiana area.

The cost of the tickets is $15 for Adult and College Students, $10 for Students/Children and age 4 and under free. For additional information call 812-257-0222 or 812-486-3658 or contact one of the table hosts.

The Daviess County Right To Life is asking churches along with individuals from the community to reserve this date of Oct. 3 and encourage people to attend this special event.
