WASHINGTON — Park meeting Wednesday

The Washington Park and Recreation Board will hold a meeting on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Council Chambers, 200 Harned Ave.

All interested citizens and patrons of any of the three parks - Eastside Longfellow and South Park, are welcome to attend. Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Gospel sing in Wheatland

Southern Indiana Neighbors Gospel Sing will be Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Wheatland Wesleyan Church, 240 N. Green in Wheatland. 4 His Praise Trio will be the featured group.

4-H goat show change

The goat show for the Daviess Co. 4-H Show has a change in start time for Thursday, July 18. The goat show will now start at 6 p.m. (not 7 p.m.).

WHS football yard sale

Washington High School football team will hold an all night yard sale from 8 p.m. Friday to 1 p.m. Saturday across from Chuckles on SR 57N, weather permitting.

B-R board meeting

The Barr-Reeve Board of School Trustees will meet in an executive session Wednesday to discuss strategies for collective bargaining and job performance evaluations of individual employees.

A regular session will follow at 8 p.m. at the central administrative office, 373N Main St., Montgomery.

Items on the regular session agenda include; middle and high school textbook rental fees, bread and milk bids, extension of vocational and special education co-cop representative, extension of treasurer’s appointments, extension of conflict of interest statements, school lunch and breakfast fees, professional development requisitions, teacher recommendations and maternity leave requests.

ND board meeting

The North Daviess school board will meet Monday at 7 p.m. in the North Daviess Junior/Senior High School library.

Items on the agenda include; patron concerns, board policy additions and revisions, and future meeting dates.
