WASHINGTON — COUNTY REPORT
11 p.m. - A caller in Epsom reported a loud party going on next to his property and people attending the party were parking in his yard.
6:55 p.m. - A woman at the Viking Mart in Montgomery was trying to pay for gas, but did not have any money. Officers transported the woman to her vehicle.
6:41 p.m. - A caller on Troy Rd advised of a white Blazer off in a ditch. The driver was ok and the vehicle was towed.
2:09 a.m. - Several power outages were reported in the southwest part of the city and near Cherry Tree Plaza.
10:20 p.m. - A caller on Meridian St. reported a fight in progress involving about 15 individuals. The complainant said the fight started on Harner St. and then continued down to Oak St.
The complainant also advised one of the subjects was carrying a baby. An officer spoke with the complainant who said she believed that the group went into the church. Jacoby Wilson, a youth pastor, advised that he saw a group of about 20 juveniles fighting outside of the church and the group then moved into the alley. Wilson stated no one besides his wife and baby were in the church.
10:13 p.m. - An accident was reported at US 50 and SR 57. The driver of a black Jeep fled the scene of the accident before authorities arrived. The driver of the other vehicle, Lucas Bird, was not injured but his vehicle received damage to the side rear quarter panel.
Kyle L. Coleman, 27, Washington, was arrested Wednesday by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on five counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated over .15 percent, possession of marijuana, intimidation, resulting in law enforcement and possession of a controlled substance. No bond amount was set.
Erik K Tosti, 35, Odon, was arrested Wednesday by Odon police on a warrant for failure to appear. He was released on $2,000 bond.
