Public Works board to meet

Washington Board of Public Works will meet Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. at council chambers for an executive session to discuss the purchase of real estate followed by the swearing in of three new reserve police officers.

After the swearing in, a city council meeting will take place. Items on the agenda include the final reading of ordinances for appropriations and the tax rate for 2014 as well as an ordinance amending the two-mile zoning boundary. Matt Wallace and Bernardin Lochmueller will present plans for an ADA Transition Plan and Sidewalk Replacement Plan. The Board of Public Works will meet Tuesday at the conclusion of the city council meeting.

Items on the agenda include street closing requests, discussion and approval of contracts for funds and the employee cell phone use policy.

WEdnesday

County Council to meet

The Daviess County Council will meet Wednesday at 9 a.m. Items on the agenda include the Trilogy Healthcare Services Declaratory Resolution, requests for additional appropriations, and requests for transfer of funds.

North Daviess to meet Oct. 21

The North Daviess School Board will meet in a regular session on Monday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. in the junior high/high school library. Items on the agenda include approval of minutes from a special session held Sept. 26, approval of claims, school improvement plans and field trips.
