Traffic stop nets three

A Friday morning traffic stop by city police found a small meth lab and sent three to jail.

At 1:48 a.m., Ptl. Buck Seger and Reserve Officer Brandon Garland performed a traffic stop on W. Walnut And N.W. 12th streets.

During the stop, officers found a small one-pot methamphetamine lab and several pills classified as controlled substances. Two females, Leslie Jo Davis, Brandee R. Mumma, and a male, Jonathan W. Waggoner, were taken into custody.

Davis was preliminarily charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, possession of precursors, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, two counts of possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance and unlawful possession of a syringe. She was also wanted on a warrant from Henderson County, Ky.

Mumma was preliminarily charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of precursors and unlawful possession of a syringe. Waggoner was preliminarily charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of precursors.

All three were taken to the Daviess County Security Center and are being held without bond.
