Cougars move to 11-10

---- — LITTLE CINCINNATI - The North Daviess Cougars ended the regular season on a high note with a 57-48 victory over Eastern Greene.

The Cougars did not trail at any stop, with Kelby Byrer, Austin Beuhler and Brady Helms all ending the game in double figures. Byrer posted 14 points, 11 boards and six assists. Helms and Buehler added 11 points each and Zach Moore pulled down seven boards. Also having a solid game was Alex Wittmer with eight points and three assists.

The Cougars had just a one-point lead at the end the first quarter, they posted a 16-7 second to go into the half up 10. Eastern cut into the lead with a 30-27 second half, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Cougars from moving 11-10 and hgiving them their fourth win in their final five games.

The Cougar JV lost 40-31, they were led by Caleb Wagler with 10 and Kyle Kane with 8.
