Barr-Reeve wins two

MONTGOMERY — Barr-Reeve's baseball team improved to 4-2 on the season with wins in its past two games.

The Vikings defeated Blue Chip Conference foe Wood Memorial, 6-3, Saturday, with four runs in the bottom of the first inning.

Barr-Reeve added single runs in the third and fourth innings to complete the score.

Addison Wagler and Adam Graber each hit home runs in the victory.

Cain Miller, Logan James, Lucas Graber and Seth Swartzentruber all doubled for Barr-Reeve.

Heath Graber started and pitched three innings to get the win for the Vikings. Stanley Kemp finished, pitching the final four.

On Friday, the Vikings rallied with three runs in the fifth and two in the sixth for a 7-2 win at Orleans.

The host Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead with a run in the bottom of the first against Viking starter Brandon Wagler. He was relieved by Lucas Graber who got the win.

Wagler also hit a home run and doubled for Barr-Reeve. James and Myron Stoll had two doubles each.

Stoll finished with three hits, Heath Graber, Wagler and James each had two with Addison Wagler and Adam Graber having one each.
